NOMAD 2026, WHO’S AFRAID OF BEIGE, BLUE, AND GREEN?

Villa Beaulieu, Via Arona 34 7500, St. Moritz
Who’s Afraid of Beige, Blue, and Green? at NOMAD St. Moritz
Across three rooms, von Bartha brings together a selection of artists such as Marina Adams, Olaf Breuning, Anna Dickinson, Barry Flanagan, Terry Haggerty, Imi Knoebel, Yves Laloy, Robert Mangold, Landon Metz, Erin Shirreff, Francisco Sierra, Barbara Stauffacher Solomon, Ted Stamm, and Claudia Wieser for whom color is a decisive and deliberate tool used with confidence and intention to extend vision, create atmosphere, and open pathways into other worlds.
Who’s Afraid of Beige, Blue, and Green? rethinks color as a shared language across different artistic positions, proposing it as an invitation to step beyond the „Here and Now“ and to engage with art as an immersive, ongoing experience that shapes our lives.
Highlights of the presentation include the beige work Table Muse by Erin Shirreff, Imi Knoebel’s Etcetera series in a striking blue, and Anna Dickinson’s magical green glass objects.
Nowhere are these colors more resonant than in the Engadin Alps, where light is renowned for its clarity, precision, and atmosphere, shaping both landscape and architecture. This distinctive luminosity forms a conceptual and spatial point of departure for Who’s Afraid of Beige, Blue, and Green? at NOMAD St. Moritz.
